Taoism is concerned with the pleasure of the woman and an ability for sure and certain orgasm. The role of the man is to guide her to this pleasure, which includes the control of his arousal, the control of his ejaculation, and a well-developed sense of observation.
Many symbols were then assigned as representations of the man, “The White Tiger”, with the woman represented by the Green Dragon.
There are three major principles of the sexual Tao
- The control of ejaculation: The man needs to hold his erection as long as possible without ejaculation. See our page; our advice to keep an erection
- The concepts of the male orgasm and of ejaculation are two different things: We should not believe that ultimate pleasure is always due to ejaculation. The Taoists have always thought that it was possible to have fun and have an orgasm without ejaculation.
- The importance of female orgasm: The female orgasm is of prime importance. At the beginning of the sexual act, the man has to control himself, so as not to take pleasure until his partner is well onto their own path of personal pleasure.
The practice
If the basis of the sexual Tao is the man’s business, the woman also has her role to play: that of the adviser and the instructor. It is also the importance of her role as an instructor, that was highlighted in the various books dealing with sexuality, where the woman often talks with the man to teach him the mysteries of the sexual Tao.
