How Can I Know If We Are Compatible?

Have you been together for a while and are wondering whether or not you two are compatible?

Do you like this man? Have you been together for some time and you are wondering whether or not you are compatible?
As soon as you start to bond with someone, it is quite normal to ask yourself a lot of questions about them.
We could all make our lives so much easier, if we just chose the right people to be a part of our lives. The first thing that is needed in order to say that you are compatible with your partner, is knowing who you really are.

What kind of lover are you?
When dating, we  should all take the time to carefully look at who we are, and try to see ourselves from other people’s point of view. This is the best way to ensure that the people you date,  will have the same interests and attributes as you do. After all, if we don't really know who we are, and if we only know who we want to be, it will be next to impossible to find someone with whom we can get along with in the long run.
In order for you to really get in touch with the real you, you should take some time and write down the things that interest you. Are you interested in children and the environment? Do you like shopping for shoes or are you more interested in learning a foreign language and volunteering? There is no right or wrong, it's just a way to identify your core values, so that you can find someone else with similar core values. This will ensure true compatibility.

Similar or complementary?
After you've done your own personal assessment, it's time to jot down the traits you would like to find in a potential partner. Do you care if your partner doesn't share your interest in the homeless, or your commitment to the planet? Are you going to just go and do your charity work while your partner stays home watching TV? These questions are very easy to overlook, especially if you find someone who is physically attractive to you, but it is important that you pay attention to them. Physical attraction will wear off and what you have left is that person's core values. If these don't match yours, you will run into difficulties in your relationship.
Of course, a great way to make sure that you meet someone with similar values is to try and meet someone at events where you do the things you love to do. For example, if you are volunteering for the environment, you might meet someone from the same organization, so you know you have at least one thing in common.

One caveat: you don't want a clone of your personality. That would get boring, wouldn't it?
Let's remain indulgent, yet be realistic:
What you want is a bit of common ground, but also some differences. It's nice at the end of the day for both of you to be able to share your unique experiences of the day with each other. If you have things that are unique to each of you, you can share them with your partner, which will create a new level of bonding.
Follow these tips to make sure you can tell that you're compatible with your boyfriend. Compatibility is a wonderful thing in a relationship. Do not think that it is necessary from time to time to have some discord, to have necessarily different opinions. What matters in person-to-person compatibility is kindness, acceptance and having someone who understands you. Now, take the compatibility test and discover whether you two can last!
